Washington Tops Men’s Poll; Wisconsin and Harvard Top Lightweight Polls
University of Washington earned the top spot in this week’s USRowing men’s varsity eight poll, while the University of Wisconsin and Harvard University topped the women's and men’s lightweight eight polls, respectively.
Washington earned all 13 first-place votes to take the top spot in this week’s men’s varsity eight poll. University of California ranked second. Brown University, Harvard University and Yale University rounded out the top five.
Wisconsin remained the unanimous choice for the top spot in the women’s lightweight eight poll, earning all eight first-place votes. Stanford University ranked second, followed by Princeton University. Radcliffe and Georgetown University rounded out the top five.
Harvard took the top spot in the men’s lightweight poll, receiving 10 of 11 first-place votes. Princeton ranked second, earning one first-place vote. Navy, Georgetown and Yale rounded out the top five.
